Bellerive FCJ Catholic College celebrates post 16 successes
Students and staff at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College have many reasons to be cheerful today as they celebrate impressive A level and BTEC results from their Year 13 students.
At A level over 70% of students achieved grades A* to C, whilst at BTEC over 90% achieved grades Distinction* to Merit. This continued improvement is a result of the positive attitude and work ethic shown by our students throughout the last two years, which was also highlighted in our 'Outstanding' Catholic School's Inspection earlier this year.
There were many individual success stories including Louisa Jones, Gracie Urumov, Gabrielle Marshall, Kellie Delavega, Katie Lenden, Farah Seyid and Ellie Mann all of whom are commended for achieving grades A*- B in all their subjects.
Furthermore, our students have been very successful in gaining entrance to university, going off to study in a variety of subject areas across Liverpool and beyond. These include Law, Biomedical Science, History of Art, Philosophy, Psychology, Nursing and Criminology.
Bellerive’s Chair of Governors, Sr Brenda Wallace, FCJ said: ‘We are delighted with these results and they are an illustration of the hard work and commitment of our students, their parents and our wonderful teachers. Y13 have been outstanding role models for our FCJ values and we wish them well in their next educational adventure.’
