France and Belgium trip

The latest from the History trip to France and Belgium:


It was not possible to travel on the 1030pm boat to Dover
We are now booked on the 0130am crossing ( French time)
The boat docks in Dover at 0230am (Uk time)
School party then picks up new coach at Dover and will then travel to Liverpool
ETA is now between 9am and 10am
Students will keep parents updated as coach progresses from Dover

Apologies for the delays but this is down to factors outside of the school's control and the delays/breakdown of the coach will be the subject of an investigation by the travel company. We are told that the students remain in good spirits and are behaving in a way which does them great credit. Thanks to parents for their patience and to our staff who will also be delayed in returning to their own families due to these delays.

When collecting students from school, parents are asked to be mindful of the parking restrictions around the school site from Liverpool City Council.
