Taster Day for Girls in Year 4 & 5

THIS DAY IS NOW FULLY BOOKED - IF YOU HAVEN'T PRE-BOOKED A PLACE, PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP ON THE DAY AS WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ANY MORE CHILDREN AT THIS EVENT FOR HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS. REGRETTABLY, WE WILL HAVE TO TURN YOU AWAY IF YOU ARRIVE WITHOUT A BOOKING.
We can't wait to welcome your daughter to Bellerive for a day of fun and exciting activities. ~The day is totally free for your daughter to attend and we will provide lunch and drinks during the day.
She will leave that day with a sense of what her secondary school life will be like, and be excited by the wonderful opportunities that she can experience when she starts here in Year 7.

Programme for Taster Day
Start Time: 9:30AM
End Time: 2:30 PM
What can my daughter expect on the day?
- Your daughter can wear her normal primary school uniform with trainers for taster day.
- Please arrive at the small black gate on Ullet Road for Registration. Bellerive staff will be out on Ullet Road to greet you.
- Registration is from 9:30am and there will be a brief session to get to know the other girls in their group;
- There will be three interactive sessions in the morning in a range of subjects to give an opportunity to try some new subjects and experience our amazing facilities (please note we are unable to accommodate requests for specific subjects);
- A free lunch will be provided on the day in our school canteen, however your daughter can bring her own packed lunch with her if she wishes;
- In the afternoon the girls will attend a matinée production of 'Matilda the Musical', based on the book written by Roald Dahl. This will take place at the school and will be performed by current Bellerive pupils.
- Parents and carers can collect their daughter from 2:30pm from the small black gate on Ullet Road
- A copy of the letter sent to parents who completed the application form is at the end of the webpage.
Please note that parents are unable to stay with their children during the day.
Please note that during the day, we would like to take photos of the children. These photos are used to record the day and may be put on our school website, social media and in our newsletter.
